The Role of Medium-Effect Air Filters in Cleanrooms

Medium efficiency air filter is mainly used in air conditioning and centralized air supply system. It can be used for primary filtration in air-conditioning systems to protect the filters and systems in the system. Where air purification and cleanliness are not important, the air treated by the medium efficiency air filter can be delivered directly to the user. Medium-effect air filters are widely used in air conditioning and ventilation systems, pharmaceuticals, electronics, food and other industrial purification. Medium efficiency air filters can also be used as front-end filtration of air filters to reduce the load on air filters. Extend its service life.

Medium-effect air filters (bag filters) are in the form of cold plate spraying, galvanized plate and so on. The filter material is non-woven fabric, glass fiber and so on. The particle size of the filter is 1~5um, and the filtration efficiency is high. It is 60~95% (colorimetric method). Filter material is usually divided into: F5 (yellow), F6 (green), F7 (light pink), F8 (light yellow) and F9 (white).

  There are two types of medium-efficiency air filters: bag-type and F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, non-bag-type including FB (plate-type medium-efficiency filters), FS (separator-type medium-efficiency filters)), FV (combined medium-efficiency filters).

  Medium efficiency air filters filter dust particles in the range of 1-5 μm, filtering dust and protecting the filter. Depending on the filter material, we usually use medium efficiency filters such as fiberglass and wire perforated foam, which are commonly used in cleanrooms.
