In 2016, the new national standard of air purifier GB/T18801-2015 "Air Purifier" officially began to be implemented, which specifies four core indicators that affect the purification effect of air purifiers, i.e., CADR value (clean air volume), CCM value (cumulative purification volume), purification energy efficiency and noise.

CADR is the output of clean air per unit of time in cubic meters per hour, this parameter indicates the purification performance of the air purifier, the higher the value means the stronger the purification ability, the larger the applicable room.

CCM is the cumulative purification capacity of the purifier, indicating the total mass of pollutants cumulatively processed when the purification capacity of the air purifier decays to the initial value of 50%. The larger the CCM, the longer the service life of the filter and the lower the replacement frequency.

Purification efficiency refers to the ratio of CADR value and rated power, divided into particulate purification energy efficiency and formaldehyde purification energy efficiency. When the particulate purification energy efficiency value reaches 2, this is a qualified level, when the ratio reaches 5, this is a high-efficiency level; for formaldehyde purification energy efficiency, when the ratio reaches 0.5, it is a qualified level, when the ratio reaches 1, it is a high-efficiency level. The higher the purification energy efficiency, the lower the energy consumption of the purifier.

Noise is the noise generated by the air purifier when it is turned on at its maximum setting, the smaller this value is the better.

These four core parameters have precise and strict requirements for all air purifier products on the market today, and are the most important points for consumers to focus on when using air purifiers.

3、Look at the filter

Choosing a good filter material will affect the adsorption efficiency, so choose a higher grade for the same filter material.
